September 2020 Favorites

I know we are already about half way through October, but I wanted to share what I have been loving in the month of September! I also don’t think I have shared this but I have a YouTube channel! I’ll be posting videos about fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. There will be a video going up that corresponds with this blog post just so you can see another side of me and more commentary on products. I have really enjoyed watching YouTube videos for the last several years and have always wanted to start a channel of my own. Now here we are! Click the YouTube icon at the top of my Home page to be directed to my channel and don’t forget to subscribe!

Now that we have all life updates out of the way, let’s get into these favorites. I will have the links on the name of the products if you want to check it out further.

Shoulder Pad Tee: Here she goes again talking about this dang shoulder pad tee… But look how cute it is styled with a leather skirt! You can’t go wrong with what you wear it with and the shoulder pads make me feel like a BOSS! I wear a size small.

Cropped Orange Sweater: Thanks to my sweet friend Anelle, I have fallen in love with this cropped orange sweater! The sleeves puff out (check), and it has a loose turtle neck (check). What is there not to love?! I wear a size small.

White Cropped Hoodie: I really got this hoodie because it says “C’est La Vie Paris” and looks like a designer label. The joke is on everyone else because I got it from Amazon for under $25, score! I love wearing it with my oversized blazer for a casual chic look. I wear a size small.

Gray Sweater: Another Amazon favorite for under $25! I love the inside out type of look this sweater has. It definitely makes my outfit feel more grunge and edgy, which is a vibe I want when I don’t want to wear something super chic. I wear a size small.

Black Croc Belt Bag: I am pretty sure I have worn this bag with EVERYTHING! I think it can elevate any plain outfit you have. Not only is it so cute, but it fits all the essentials I need throughout the day. Another Amazon find.Black Croc Boots: Now…

Black Croc Belt Bag: I am pretty sure I have worn this bag with EVERYTHING! I think it can elevate any plain outfit you have. Not only is it so cute, but it fits all the essentials I need throughout the day. Another Amazon find.

Black Croc Boots: Now I can have my favorite pair of shoes match my favorite bag! Win, win! I’m obsessed with everything from the Crocodile print to the silver side zipper. The perfect fall shoe in my opinion!

Adidas Sneakers: As my first fashion athletic sneaker, I think I picked a good one! I know this type of style has been around for awhile, but I love that you can wear it with any type of look and you are good to go. If you haven’t noticed, I like getting items that I can wear with any type of outfit in any season.

Simple Black Tote: Here’s another Amazon find! I got this bag for $15! Even though this bag looks so chic and simple I was a little concerned with the quality at first. Then I realized I got it for $15.. If I wanted an amazing quality bag I would have saved my money to get one that will last me a lifetime. For the lower price point I think it is absolutely worth it. I have been using it everyday for almost a month and it has been holding up just fine!

Beauty Items: I know I have mentioned these products before, but they are still my favorites!! The Thrive Causmetics Liquid Lash Extensions mascara is my new Holy Grail mascara! No flaking? Sold! I love that it always makes my lashes look long and voluminous. Another Thrive Causmetics must have is the Brilliant Eye Brighteners. I have saved so much time with my makeup routine by using these as my eye shadow. Just apply all over your lid and buff out with your finger or brush. It’s that easy, and your eyes look gorgeous!

My next repeat favorite is the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mask. If your face ever feels dry or you just want to treat yourself with a bomb mask this is it! It sinks into my skin and makes it feel extremely hydrated. Another Holy Grail item for sure!

Sorry if I am boring you with all of my repeat favorites but after using Highline Wellness CBD oil for over a month I have been hooked! I get the Mint CBD oil and use about half a dropper every night to help my mind and body relax before I go to bed. I have taken CBD oil for a while now and have been really impressed with the results of Highline Wellness. It is the cherry on top for when I prepare myself for bedtime. I also have a referral in the link above for $10 off! Enjoy!

Food: I have recently discovered Thrive Market via Instagram. It is a grocery delivery service and they sell all organic and natural products. You go to their website, choose the type of membership you want, choose your dietary needs (if you have any), and start shopping! Kollin and I have been trying to eat more Keto friendly which is another reason why I wanted to try out Thrive. Above are my favorite snacks for the month: Chomps Beef Sticks, Dang Bars, and Nacho flavored Pumpkin Seeds.

As for my last favorite I wanted to share what I have been reading. I also have gotten into the habit of reading every night before I go to bed as a way to calm my mind down. I am just about to finish Untamed by Glennon Doyle. She has an amazing story about her life and what she has overcome. I won’t give away all of the details but I think it really touched me in a way that the paths I have taken in my life haven’t always been the same as everyone else’s. It’s just another reminder that it happens but that doesn’t mean it’s wrong. I know I can easily get caught up in my own feelings or what I have going on in my life but it is a great reminder that you’re not the only one. Always be checking in with yourself and your loved ones.
